no man's land

jondi & i have entered no man's land! not really, but that's my analogy for that weird stretch of time that comes between sending an al-bom out to "industry" types and actually getting significant results. what are we doing to fill the time? we're crafting our 2003 release schedule for loöq records, booking djs for qoöl, qoöl saturdays and loöq hard, working on remixes, and generally making plans for the rest of the year. yep, this month seems to be all about the future.
speaking of the future, i'm not sure if we've announced this yet (or whether we're even supposed to announce this!), but we'll be going into the publishing business - probably by next week. curious? let me just say that soon you may just run across a party flyer that you will actually want to read. that and pat mcmahan will be a little surprised when he gets word that a few thousand copies of a funny picture of him has been printed in a format that's quite a bit bigger than your average postcard.
enough predictions. here's a quiz question to keep you entertained for the rest of your time on this web page:
at this moment spesh is...
a. compiling his mid-month dj chart
b. making chicken stock
c. laundering the rug from the j&s studio
d. all of the above.

just leave your answer in the comment section along with any complaints about how boring this post was to read!
