my gosh, a jondi & spesh update! sorry for the delay, but we have both been on the busy side. jondi has been in geneva on a family visit and i have been holding down the loöq fort here in sf (which is not that difficult given that our label and event manager rocks). we're in the process of booking three months worth of djs for our san francisco events, writing and edtiting our next issue of the qoöl quarterly, and working out which of the worlds "tastemaking" djs will get a wonderful and recently finished jsj (jondi, spesh & jerry bonham) produced bootleg of one of our favorite songs from the 80s. this is just the normal stuff. then there's the fact that gee moore (mr. bora bora) will be dropping in to spin at qoöl this week (logistics), phil k has been promised a bbq by scott carrelli and yours truly this weekend as part of his contract for performing at qoöl saturdays (more logistics including a visit to the factory that makes and sells the mesquite charcoal and the almond wood that we insist on using for this), and i've committed myself to spin at local film production company bash on friday.
