Stuck in the Highlands
On the recommendation of my dad I tried Lagaluvin, a single malt scotch from Islay, last night at Anu (thanks Hsiao-Wen!). The smell was a little off-putting ... kind of like something you might throw on an open wound after a sword battle if you were stuck in the highlands with no antibiotic ointment. But it went down pretty easily. Smoky and peaty, a lot going on.
Updates:
Studio - working on some exciting new sketches. I'm thinking 2006 might be a good year for the next Jondi & Spesh album. I'm listening and learning a lot these days. Also just ordered a new dual G5 for the studio so our processing power is about to triple (or more). Yum.
Singles - New Blue Dawn, the first J&S single in awhile, is out in promo. Check it out and let us know what you think. Also the Pako & Frederik remix of "The Answer" finally came out - it really rocks. Those dutch boys are super talented.
Norway - I swear, there must be something in that snowmelt they drink over there ... we've been getting a steady stream of insane tracks from Oslo. Maybe it's the snus?
