Hola senoritas!
Back from Puerto Vallarta ... had a great time helping Sean & Lindsay get married. Lots of beach time, and at least a half gallon of pina coladas consumed over the course of the week, not to mention tequila and Laphroaig (don't ask). Lots of wholesome fun too like beach ball in the pool and zip-lining at 45mph over rainforest canyons (on the set of Predator, no less).
Coming up to speed, well, came up a little too fast actually ... now I need to check myself and relax again. Don't have to get everything done this week. But yeah I'm behind on stuff ... like uploading the Oct. show for example - I promise I will get to it soon! Glad to have peeps looking forward to it, we love doing the show and we're super stoked to have some fans out there.
In other Jondi & Spesh news ... our most recent single "Breather" was on last week's CSI:Miami. Unfortunately you can barely make out that it's our track ... their sound design guys did a really excellent job of making the generic "sound of dance music outside of the club" sound, but it works great for the scene. However we also licensed "The Answer" and you can hear that loud and clear in another scene, with a girl puking on a boat. The episode is called "Prey" if you want to torrent that puppy and check it out.
In the upcoming releases category we've "Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3" in the pipeline, due out in November with the release of the XBox 360. The guys and gals at Konami have been good to us ... we've got *three* tracks on this game including an original DDR exclusive called "Insaner", a remix of a track called "Balalaika," and another remix of a track called "250bpm." We also managed to get our Norwegian friend Trond's (Tronso's) track on the game "Bass On the Side." Should be a fun one to play ... I'll be playing on "Standard" (not "Heavy" ... I'm not fourteen anymore you know?).
If you are ever in PV you have to check out a little bar called "Vaca Lunch." Just don't order more than one drink, no matter what you order it comes in a 64oz cow-camo styrofoam cup.
