sorry for the lack of blog-o-tainment from me but i've got an excuse. i've been a bit distracted by a huge mud slide behind my house.

this kind of thing is actually really common in california where people build all over the hills to the get the nice views. when a whopper of a rainy season comes along, we get some slides.

although there's been no damage to our place, we have been "red tagged" due to the danger. we won't be allowed back until they can remove about 30 tons of debris from the back yard.

all this is making for a late start to bbq season. i'll keep you posted (pardon the pun).
