It's hot! After weeks of rainy wetness I'm ready for it. Things are heating up at Loöq Records too ... our release in promo, Halo Effect, is getting fantastic reactions. Some bigger names that we didn't even know were in our promo network are getting back to us (albeit still with short, uncreative reactions - dj's are so lazy).

Our current release "Continental Mistress" may be a little ahead of it's time. I get *crazy* positive reactions on the dance floor whenever I play out the title track or either mix of "28157", but sales have been on the sluggish side. Not sure what's going on there. Hard not to take it personally as I am half of the Dial Freaks. Please have a listen below if you haven't checked it out yet ... feedback welcome.

Looking forward to Qoöl tonight ... great guests tonight [e] and Kevin Knapp, and I'm looking forward to hearing Spesh and Scott and Hyper D too. It's a warm night, could be a big one. Maybe I'll take a break from scotch ... it might be more tequila weather.
