Weekly Recap

Thanks to Jason aka DJ Messiah for having us up to the See Sound Lounge in Seattle last week ... wish we could have stayed longer. Seattle feels like home to me because I grew up in Holland (where the sun comes out only a few days a year and the skies are generally a friendly shade of gray).

New EP in the works ... one track is called "Hot Pepper Pie" and the other one is untitled. Also working on some audio "deconstruction" experiments which may turn into a larger project. In terms of dance music and studio projects in general I'm working hard on getting to the next level in terms of mastering, really getting a full, round sound that hits just right on every bandwidth. Band-based (as opposed to graph based) spectral analyzers are incredibly useful in this respect (as are decent monitors, studio headphones, and playing stuff out at Qoöl and elsewhere).

Sorry about not coming up with an October Loöq Radio podcast ... the travel schedule was just too much this month. We'll be back full force for the November show ... I've got a fat folder of new tracks I'd like to share with you all.
