As you can see, we've begun to bill ourselves as "The Amazing Jondi & Spesh." Pretentious? Check. Ridiculous? Check. Tongue-in-cheek? Check. Deserved? You decide. The way I see it, after fifteen years of making and putting out music mostly for the love of it (though we have managed to get paid here and there), from pink polka-dotted records that every old-school DJ remembers being among the first in their collection, to We Are Connected getting big-upped by John Digweed, to starting our own imprint Loöq Records, to writing half a dozen of the most popular Dance Dance Revolution tracks, to having the longest running electronic music happy hour party in San Francisco (that would be Qoöl, come down and see us some Wednesday), we can call ourselves whatever the hell we please. So, even though we've yet to have a #1 Beatport hit, or a major dance music magazine cover, we're still going to call ourselves "The Amazing Jondi & Spesh" from now on. Let the jokes begin. Proton Radio already got us when our show aired before we could post all the related information. "So amazing they don't need to post a track list" read the first track on our track list.
