Recently Kevin Knapp and I (aka Slow Poke) worked on a track called "Back Seat Driver" in which our friend Nikki sang the lyric "I suck at directions." My personal variation on that theme this month would be "I suck at reactions." Yes ... all the good people sending me fine music from their dance music labels might as well have emailed a black hole this past month. I am receiving vaguely threatening emails from some of my promo pools. I just unflagged about 250 emails in my *TRACKS-LISTEN* mail folder because they were crusty enough to be released and commercially available at this point (and thus full of dead links I'm sure).

The main reasons for this utter lack of living up to my DJ responsibilities this month have been 1) vacation (please see a few pictures I took in New Mexico below) and 2) preparing for the release of the new MOMU album, which is more work than you might think.

In the pipeline for Jondi & Spesh - a new track called "One Pound of Track." Working on a few ideas for the flip "side" of the single. Meanwhile Spesh is blasting the original to death at every gig.
